How to draw a banana from a reference
Use the finished image above as a reference. These are copying tips, rather than an illustrated step-by-step lesson.
- Look at the banana reference and identify its largest shapes. Lightly mark their size and position on your own paper.
- Copy the outside contour a small section at a time. Compare the space between lines with the reference before adding details.
- Add the smaller features visible in the image. Erase your construction marks, then leave the sketch as an outline or add your own color.
